From the Horeb we are contemplative-missionaries, we are the heart of our community, from where we pump all the strength and life towards the different members that make up the body.

Saint Therese of the Child Jesus

“For me, prayer is an impulse of the heart, a simple glance directed to heaven, a cry of gratitude and love, both in the midst of suffering and in the midst of joy. In a word it is something big, something supernatural that dilates my soul and unites me to Jesus. “

Horeb means blessed mountain, the Horeb is the place of God’s encounter with man, in an intimate dialogue of love.

Through the Horeb we serve the Lord through a life dedicated to prayer, manual labor and fraternal life. The combination of these elements make it possible for life within the Horeb to be a constant praise to God.

From the Horeb Eucharistic Adoration is promoted, and anyone who wants to be heard is attended to, at times that have been established for the purpose through direction, spiritual conversation, confession, Eucharistic catechesis is taught, a Cenacle is celebrated in the company of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and those who wish to live a few days in silence and prayer are received in the hostel.

These houses are located mainly in the heart of the cities, since they are true oases of peace in the middle of the desert of the world; they are also “beacons of light” that illuminate us by giving us life through their sacrifices, prayers and in their poor, free and joyful surrender.
